Shirakiku - inaka soba buckwheat noodles 16 oz. are native Japanese noodles made of buckwheat flour (soba-ko) and wheat flour (komugi-ko). They are about as thick as spaghetti, and prepared in various hot and cold dishes. The most basic soba dish is zaru soba in which boiled, cold soba noodles are eaten with a soya based dipping sauce (tsuyu) and spiced with a bit of wasabi. Boil for 6 minutes in water, drain and serve warm or rinse with cold water and serve cold. We are pleased to offer these premium quality imported soba noodles in Shirakiku brand.
